The campground and it's attendees were clearly visible from the access street where passersby could stop to gawk through the thin treeline and low growth. There is no privacy fence. The entrance was rough and muddy with tight turns and if you have a nice rig forget about cleanliness. If you have a trailer you have to disconnect and park in an open field behind the campground that is so rough I'm sure 4 wheel drive is required after heavy rains.

There was a nature trail connected to the park but it seemed to be part of the state trails system. A map of the trail was on display at the campground, but no visitors maps were available as indicated by display. It's also not a private trail so other hikers using it would be exposed to full access to property.

There was an open pavilion for parties as well as a bandstand in another area of the campground. No clubhouse, food or drink service was available.

Again, this is a rustic place and NOT a full service resort. So be sure to take everything with you that wish to have including bottled water and food.

I visited Hidden River recently and really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the place. Its great to be able to be nude on the entire property.

Whether you wish to RV/tent camp there or go just for the day, its a great place to enjoy outdoor nudity in peace and quiet.

Hiking naked on the trails is a real treat - a feeling of total freedom and feeling miles from reality. Afterwards, you can shower off and take a dip in the pool.

Came here with friends and 3 rigs total to escape hurricane Irma. I/we are all AANR member as well as another resort member. When we arrived the owner accepted only cash and had no recept or written information on the campground or its rules. Wanted to charge each couple 60.00 per night to stay that was claimed to be a discount when we just paid 25.00 to stay at Suwanee Valley Resort in White Springs Florida near Lake city.

There was a couple on site as campgrounds host's that were absolutely charming and delightful. Forget about tv and cell reception. 3 channels for tv and 2 are the same channel. No WiFi service, and you have to drive 8 miles towards Jacksonville to get cell service.

If you just want to experience the freedom of being naked outdoors, a refreshing pool, and quiet camping, then plan a visit - even for the day.

Awesome place!

In closing I think this facility is closer to no more than $15.00 per night per rig for what you get. A lot less than the $70+ the owner claims to charge. Hidden River Resort is surely a place to avoid. Take an hour and drive west 1 hour to Suwanee Valley Resort near Lake City Florida. A far better place for the money.

The pool was nice for hang out and relax, but it only had 6' concrete edge. The rest was soggy wet grass and no food or drink was allowed. So why go to the pool. It was ice cold and when we checked it out. The hot tub was a crusty old 4 person tub that was closed due to the storm and looked like cleaning would not have helped it's condition.

Hidden river 5k trail streak in april 26 is so great...

The restrooms were adequate considering they looked old and crusty with water pipes and electric lines clearly visible throughout the building and the open rafters.

Very nice and relaxing resort never large crowds.always friendly people extremely clean
